IN-HOUSE WORKSHOPS 

In a friendly and creative atmosphere, we invite you to discover the magic of nature where My Flower Beauty products are born. You can create with Emilia Rosa Scarpone, the herbalist, your own path in the world of herbs and flowers choosing, for you and your friends, the period you prefer. Our workshops are held on request, in English and French Italian, from Spring to Autumn in the open spaces of the 40 hectares of the estate and in our Casa delle Erbe.

1. Do your self Cosmetics
I am waiting for you at the Casa delle Erbe to rediscover the natural remedies of the past and the recipes of the great queens that are the basis of the process of making My Flower Beauty products. We will also talk about what the skin is, what can damage its health and how to maintain its fresh and youthful appearance over time. We will experiment with the self-production of fantastic natural cosmetics for the daily routine using the flowers and ingredients found in the fields and in every kitchen that will allow you to make your own magical products for ageless skin.

2. The distillation of aromatic herbs
Famous and used until the mid 1700s, aromatic waters today are just a romantic memory as modern cosmetology relies on chemicals. We will experience together the ancient art of herb distillation, an emotion that for me is renewed every time. Steam distillation is a technique that allows to extract the essential oils from the fabric of the plant, through their transport by water vapour. At the end of this process two important products are always obtained: the precious essential oil and the aromatic water.

Now all that remains is to rediscover and experiment all the fruits of distillation with the ancient copper distiller with which we make My Flower Beauty preparations. 

3. Green Pharmacy
Who hasn't once dreamt of the power of self-healing? We can start concretely by turning to the Natural world which offers us an incredible variety of plants and flowers rich in healing powers. We will start by getting to know the extraction systems of the active ingredients and how to use them to create our magical ointments. With a series of tried and tested recipes you will finally have your green pharmacy to counteract recurring problems and minor ailments.

4. Herbal path
A suggestive walk in Nature to get familiar with the plant world and listen to what plants have to tell us. We will start from the Synergy Garden where many species, cultivated and spontaneous, grow together strong and luxuriant. We will cross the border of meadows, fields, and thickets, to reach the Historical Garden of Villa Lina recognizing on the way the wild plants of the various environments, we will discover the secret myths of herbs and their uses in cooking, traditional medicine and cosmetics of grandmothers. You will see how many surprises!

5. Gourmet -Vegetarian
Cuisine uses flowering plants and many organic ingredients to create sophisticated combinations for pasta sauces or rustic salads and desserts.

6. Natural Garden Workshop
The proposal is born from the sharing of the inspiring principles and techniques that are at the basis of our synergistic cultivations in which vegetables are grown together with My Flower Beauty's cosmetic herbs and flowers.

We explore the Garden-Garden and the splendor that is created by the cooperation of flowers and vegetables that are born and develop together. We will observe the extraordinary productivity we achieve by imitating Nature and the strategies used to create a living soil and protect it from attack.

Discover how to attract friendly insects and repel intruders.  Learn how to create a vegetable garden with the art of not doing: don't hoe, don't uproot, don't trample... If you don't disturb Nature work for you... eh eh.
